PRF Gel

PLATELET RICH FIBRIN GEL

Did you know that growth factors from your own blood can be used to create a natural filler that can be injected for skin rejuvenation purposes?

What is PRF GEL? Platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) gel is a biologic product that is derived from a your own blood. It is created by taking a small sample of the your blood and processing it in a centrifuge to separate the platelets and fibrin from the rest of the blood components. The resulting product is a gel-like substance that is rich in growth factors and cytokines, which are promote tissue healing and regeneration. PRF GEL isa  100% autologous and natural gel material without any chemical addition nor modification.

PRP vs. PRF?
In comparison to Platelet Rich Plasma(PRP), Platelet Rich Fibrin(PRF) does not require the use of any additives or anti-coagulants to unlock your body’s natural healing properties. PRF provides a blood concentrate that is richer in platelets and longer-lasting growth factors for maximum stimulation and best results. When subjected to a cooling and heating process, a natural gel material can be created from your own PRF.

How is the treatment done?
During the procedure, a small sample of your blood is collected and then spun in a centrifuge to separate the PRF from the red blood cells. This sample then undergoes a heating & cooling process to form your own natural gel.

The PRF gel is then injected in the treatment area to promote collagen and elastin production as well as provide subtle volume enhancement. The result of this treatment is thicker, smoother, & brighter skin with a reduction of fine lines & wrinkles.
